Youtuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, was admitted to the hospital after his match with Anthony Joshua on Friday night. After the surgery, he shared multiple health updates for his fans on Instagram.

In one post, Paul shared an image of himself and his jaw scan with the caption,

"Surgery went well thanks for all the love and support. 2 titanium plates on each side. Some teeth removed. Have to have only liquids for 7 days so no @doghausdogs :("

Revealing that he had broken his jaw in two different places. But that does not deter the former Disney star as he still plans to fight Canelo Alvarez in 10 days, as in another post featuring his jaw X-ray, he wrote,

"Double broken jaw. Give me Canelo in 10 days."

Joshua knocked out Paul in the sixth round of the heavyweight fight. As post-match, you could see blood spewing out of his mouth before he was taken to the hospital.

Joshua expressed, "It took a little bit longer than expected, but the right hand finally found its destination. Jake Paul’s done really well tonight. I’m going to give him his props. He got up time and time again. I give Jake the respect for trying and trying. He came up against a real fighter tonight.”

Though Jake might be ready to fight Canelo in more than a week, he might not get an all-clear. Valuable Promotions chief Nakisa Bidarian spoke after the match,

"We think he broke his jaw. He’s fine. He took a shower, he drove himself to hospital. Broken jaw is very common in sports, particularly in boxing or MMA. The recovery time is up to four to six weeks."

This is the second loss of his career after his 14 fights, and his current rank is 15th in the WBA cruiserweight rankings.
