Jimmy Wayne Carwyle was detained after driving his car through the gates of the Bel-Air house owned by his friend, superstar Jennifer Aniston. Initially, the intruder was reported to be 70 years old; however, new reports suggested that Carwyle is 48 years old. The American actress was inside her house when the incident occurred. Jennifer Aniston's security team apprehended the intruder; however, he was given the benefit of the doubt that he might have crashed into the gates by accident.

During the ongoing investigation by the LAPD Threat Management Unit, they found a bizarre social media post that suggested a stalking motive. A report from TMZ indicates that police are actively investigating the alleged stalking incident involving Jimmy Wayne Carwyle. According to police sources, investigators are delving into social media posts connected to Carwyle, particularly those found on a Facebook page that includes several erratic and odd statements. Among these is a post from October in which Carwyle mentions actress Jennifer Aniston as his "bride." Currently, Carwyle is being held without bail at the Los Angeles County jail.

According to the report shared by CBS News Los Angeles, police officers responded to a burglary call just before 12:30pm. When they arrived at the scene, the officers found that the suspect had driven a car through the property's gate. The suspect, now identified as Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, was surrounded by armed security who held him at gunpoint. Carwyle was taken into custody and subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment related to the back injuries he sustained in the crash.

On Tuesday, it was noted that Carwlye was booked on suspicion of felony vandalism. Law enforcement officials stated that the suspect was on the property while Jennifer Aniston was home but clarified that no contact occurred between them.

As reported by Architectural Digest, Aniston acquired a mid-century-style property spanning 3.4 acres in 2012, paying around $21 million. She currently stars in "The Morning Show" on Apple TV+. She explained to Architectural Digest that, aesthetically, the house wasn't what she had hoped for.

“Aesthetically, it was the furthest thing from what I wanted, but I immediately had the sense that it could work,” said the actress.
“It’s hard to describe, but I felt a connection. I’m all about cozy. Sexy is important, but comfort is essential. Every corner you turn, you have an experience. Everywhere you look, you get a vista. We worked very hard to get that flow right.” she added.

In a disturbing repeat of events, a car crash at the Friends star's residence has marked the second intrusion on Jennifer Aniston's property. The first incident occurred back in 2015, just three years after she spent $21 million on the mansion. On that occasion, a vehicle crashed through the estate's gates, prompting a swift response from a security guard who promptly alerted the authorities.

When police arrived, the driver claimed he was not behind the wheel. However, video footage from Jennifer Aniston's home contradicted his story. TMZ reports that the man was soon arrested after failing a sobriety test. This second breach of security highlights ongoing concerns about the vulnerability of even the most secure celebrity residences.
