Joe Budden has been listed as a potential witness in Milagro Gramz’s lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion.
Complex reported that, per a September 5 filing in the Southern District of Florida, Budden and Kylie Jenner were listed as potential defense witnesses for Gramz, who has been accused of orchestrating a smear campaign against the songstress as part of the 2022 criminal trial where Tory Lanez was convicted of shooting Megan.
Budden’s connection to the case remains unclear, but he has often been outspoken about his opinions on Megan Thee Stallion. Back in December 2022, per Vibe, he took shots at the latter's character during a conversation with DJ Akademiks:
"I’ve seen this woman do horrible things to some really great people that I have [a] longstanding relationship with here in this industry,” he said. “So I’m biased. You can’t just treat my friends, and people I f**k with, and people I’ve seen in this game for 15 years a certain way.”
He also admitted that he "don’t like that girl. I can’t.”

According to Complex, Megan Thee Stallion’s civil trial against Milagro Gramz is scheduled to begin on November 17, 2025. As of this writing, the exact testimony expected from Joe Budden remains unclear.
However, in July 2024, he doubled down on his sentiments against Megan during an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. At the time, he claimed that Tory Lanez was simply being set up, though he did allege that Megan was not behind it:
"First of all, I think it's above her," he explained. "I don't think she made it up. It's above her. She's a mere pawn in this. This play is greater than her. She didn't make nothing up. I ain't gon' say who I think made it up but it wasn't her. Actually, ni**gas out there know who it is. I ain't saying it on this broadcast but I know exactly who it is, I know how that gun got there, I know who gun it was."
In his remarks, Budden referenced the gun involved in the shooting and suggested he knew who was responsible for placing it in Lanez’s car, without identifying anyone.
As for Megan Thee Stallion, she is treating her civil lawsuit as a larger fight against using online platforms to discredit accomplished women in the industry.
“It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” she said in a statement earlier this year, per Complex. She added, “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”
