Joe Jonas reacts to the criticism of Camp Rock 3: Here’s what he said

Camp Rock 3 is the upcoming sequel to 2010's Camp Rock 2. The musical dramedy film is the third entry in the franchise and is slated to release in the summer of 2026 on Disney+.

The film is directed by Veronica Rodriguez, while Eydie Faye has written the screenplay. Here's the official synopsis as per IMDb:

"At Camp Rock, the Connect 3 are looking for a new opening act for their tour. Among campers like Sage, Desi, Rosie, and others, the competition to win the coveted spot sparks rivalries and romances as everyone fights to stand out."

Recently, Joe Jonas responded to the criticism directed at the film. Here's what he said.


Joe Jonas reacts to criticism regarding Camp Rock 3

Right after the teaser for Camp Rock 3 dropped, one user wrote on X.

"Genuine question are the Jonas Brothers in serious debt or something."

In response, Joe Jonas tweeted with a reference line to the teaser.

"God forbid connect 3 go back to where connect 3 connected."

The film features the Jonas Brothers reprising their roles as the Connect 3 band members. Here's the cast member list:

The film will feature the trio returning to the camp rock to look for a new generation of campers. Its short teaser video was released recently and featured the Jonas Brothers standing at the beach.

The trio says in the video, “Music. Friendship. Memories. Joe then adds, “We’re back. Exactly where we’re supposed to be.”

The franchise began with the first Camp Rock film, which was directed by Matthew Diamond. It starred the Jonas brothers along with Demi Lovato, among others. The film was released in June 2008 and met with positive reviews. It was followed by Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.

Camp Rock 3 will release on Disney+ in the summer of 2026. The makers have not revealed the exact release date for the film. The trio was recently seen in a Christmas film titled A Very Jonas Christmas Movie.
