Veteran actor Joe Pantoliano, best known for the portrayal of Ralph Cifaretto on HBO's The Sopranos, has opened up about a potential move to Europe due to increasing discomfort with the current state of the United States.

At the Tucci in Italy premiere in New York City on April 28, Pantoliano talked about the political instability in the US and the country's overall course.

"I’m so uncomfortable with the nature of what’s happening in our country, and I just want to run for the hills," he said.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, as of 2025, Joe Pantoliano's net worth is approximately $8 million. His long career as an actor, with over 150 film and TV titles, is one of the main contributors to his fortune. On screen, he has played memorable roles in The Goonies, La Bamba, The Fugitive, The Matrix, Memento, and even in the Bad Boys trilogy.

From the available reports online, it could safely be said that most of Joe Pantoliano's income has been gained only through his decade-long acting career.

In the recent interview, the 73-year-old actor talked about the political and social unrest in the US that left him feeling uneasy. He shared that he and his wife, Nancy Sheppard, recently returned from a trip to Portugal and are now thinking of moving there.

"The world is on fire, it’s hard for me to concentrate... We just got back. We really love it there," he remarked.
