In a recent stream, a FaZe fan made their Twitch username Camilla Araujo’s home address, and unbeknownst to Julia at the time, she read it out loud.
In clips circulating online, Julia, Camilla Araujo's friend, can be seen reading a username from her phone, visibly baffling the latter. When she read the username again, Araujo warned her against it, informing her that it was her home address. The exact address has since been retracted, though fans online are now worrying for the streamer.
Here's how one user reacted, for instance:
"shouldn’t this be illegal or something"
The comments didn't end there:
"Being a public person online is hella dangerous for reasons like this," someone pointed out.
"that's a yikes moment right there," another chimed in.
"And Julia is just laughing…" one more noted.
"That’s not smart AT ALL," yet another quipped.
Even more joined the ongoing discourse to voice their concern:
"She needs to up her security now for sure," one user penned on X.
"Now they gotta move," another suggested.
"That house going up for sale asap," someone else quipped.
"Hope Twitch takes this seriously and protects both streamers and innocent people from this kind of behavior," a fourth user hoped.
Users were visibly concerned about the situation, and for Camilla Araujo, many called on Twitch to take strict action and circumvent any danger.
Everything to know about Camilla Araujo:
For the unversed, Camilla Araujo is a 22-year-old Brazilian model and influencer. She gained public standing when she participated in MrBeast's Squid Game video in 2021 as contestant 067. The video, a recreation of Netflix's Squid Game, has since garnered well over 777 million views on YouTube.
The internet personality has also gained a massive following on Instagram—nearly 4 million, to be exact. She was also a prolific member of Bob House in its early days, which is a group of OnlyFans models cum content creators sharing a home in Florida.
Just last month, she went viral when a clip of her discussing her adult line of work with her brother, who is seven years her junior. In it, she can be seen asking him about his feelings about her career, to which he seemingly responded with discomfort.
Not long after, she copped major flak online, prompting her to sit down with The Hollywood Fix to set the record straight.
“I did a podcast with my brother because I do content with my family in general,” she explained. “He just happened to get really upset over the fact that I do have OnlyFans, and that’s the part that went viral.”
She added,
“People are upset because they think I’m using my younger brother to promote my OnlyFans,” Camilla said. “But in reality, my brother genuinely has real, raw emotions.”
During the interview, she also explained her role as an older sibling:
“We’re as close as one can be with that kind of age gap,” she said. “I’ve always been in and out for him, like a big sister should be.”
