Kelley Wolf is opening up about her harrowing split from her husband, Scott, after her recent stint in the hospital.

The author cum Real World alum, 48, took to Instagram this week to recall how her friends "held her against (her) will" a few months ago because they were "worried" about her.

Just last week, Kelley Wolf, who has since been estranged from her husband, was hospitalized after she filmed herself being detained by law enforcement officials in Utah. The incident took place three days after she announced her split from her husband of over 2 decades, the 57-year-old Party of Five star.

In her June 19 post, she accused "a small but very vocal group of PC lex-friends," whom she calls the Army of Eight, of trying to control her out of concern. The life coach also made a string of other claims, including that she was the one who "initiated" the breakup with her husband almost a year ago.

“Wow. F--- them," she said of her friends in her first post on Instagram. "Which is wild, considering I literally wrote a book on worry (FLOW—look it up). No one showed up. No one lit a candle or asked a question. They called the cops from a beach town in Florida or somewhere seaside… while sipping cocktails. That’s not love. That’s control," she added.

Kelley Wolf continued, claiming that what happened may have been legal, but it "wasn't right." She also pointed out that it shouldn't be "that easy to weaponize concern—especially against women."

"Also, I initiated a separation almost a year ago. I’ve been trying to file for divorce for months, but delays with legal counsel slowed the process. Yes, the official petition came from the other party, but let the record show: I’ve been grieving this marriage for years. This isn’t avoidance—it’s acceptance. I’m far past the grief. I’m well into the healing. Very much so. Mmkay. I’m not being mean… but I’ve been nice for far too long. If you follow me or watch me on TV I think people would say things like I’m fcking nice. Well, now I’m fucking mad. And… happy (cue gasps)," she said.

She went on, referring to herself as a dynamic individual whom one would call in a time of need before she slammed her own friends for turning on her. "Noted," she penned.

"Also—turns out being single is surprisingly great. Yes, I still cook and binge Netflix. I’m a homebody. But one day, I might get married again. So if you could stop calling me crazy, I’d appreciate it. (You absolute idiots.) Some of you crossed lines—contacted my family, even my children. One allegedly threatened to show up at my house with a tire iron. I’ll be handling that legally. But don’t worry about me. I’m good. I’m rested. My kids are safe. And I’m finally free," Kelley Wolf concluded her post.

In another post on Instagram, Kelley Wolf iterated that she's "one of the strongest women a certain mental hospital has ever met.” While she didn't name the exact healthcare facility, she elucidated what she meant:

“I was offered medication. I refused every single one. I laid in bed for five days—sober, clear, and calm.”

As for the status quo of her marriage, Kelley Wolf revealed that she parted ways with her husband over a year ago and, since then, has been “trying to file for divorce for months,” claiming, “delays with legal counsel slowed the process.”

“Yes, the official petition came from the other party, but let the record show: I’ve been grieving this marriage for years,” she continued.

While Kelley Wolf doubled down on her favorable sentiments for finally being single, noting that it's “surprisingly great,” she said she's open to "getting married again" one day. In the meantime, here's what she plans on doing:

“I’ll be by the pool. With my kids. Living my actual, beautiful, grounded, powerful life. And if you feel the need to 'check' on someone? Try literally anyone else. Just not me. And definitely not my kids. "I reserve the right to pursue any legal action necessary to protect my family, my name, and my peace."

Shortly after their split was announced, Scott Wolf told Today.com that he was the one who filed for divorce, referring to it as “the most difficult decision” of his life. They tied the knot in May 2004 and since then, have welcomed three children: Jackson, 16; Miller, 12; and Lucy, 11.

In the harrowing video of her being detained by law enforcement, one officer told Kelley Wolf that she was “not going to jail,” but instead, the officers just wanted to offer her “some help.” He also said he wanted to ensure she was alright in light of the concerning remarks she made about her family.

According to Today.com, shortly after Kelley Wolf shared the video, Utah County’s Sheriff’s Office issued a statement claiming they were responding to a report from Sundance Resort about "a female [that] needed some help.”

“Upon speaking with the female, our deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our deputies,” the statement read.

Page Six has also reported that a "family fight" had taken place before the 911 call on the morning of June 13, though additional details about the same remain unclear.

According to the New York Post, an audio clip from the call sees an unidentified female telling the dispatcher that she was “terrified” and “needed help” after fighting with her brother-in-law and her son.
