Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard celebrate Dax's 21 years of sobriety with photos, including pictures of their daughters, who seem to look like the actress' mini-mes. In new photos posted by the frozen star, you can see the couple's two daughters, Lincoln and Delta, who seem to share a resemblance to Bell.

The post featured multiple pictures of Shepard with his daughters, and though their faces are covered, you can see sweet moments Dax shares with his family throughout.

Kristen Bell shared a caption to go along with the dump, celebrating her husband's achievement.

"This is what 21 years of sobriety looks like. Lots of hugging. Hugging everyone and everything. Hugging life. Thank you for getting sober, @daxshepard. I am eternally grateful to have you. We all are 💕," she wrote.

Dax commented on the emotionally uplifting post by Bell,

“Well this is a low blow. Even for you. Makin’ a guy cry when he can’t turn to booze?!?!”

The actor has been sober for 21 years, since 2004; however, he did candidly share that he once relapsed by accident. He revealed on the September 25, 2020, episode of his podcast, “Armchair Expert,” that he had relapsed by taking painkillers while recovering from an accident, and at the time of recording, he was 7 days sober.

Shepard told Jesse Tyler Ferguson on the “Dinner’s On Me” podcast in 2024,

“The last thing I wanted to do was go in public, seven days after the collapse of everything, and share that with people. But it would have felt so dishonest. The bond and the agreement you have with the audience would have just felt like a huge violation of all these people who had been listening for years and maybe looking to me as a role model.”
He further added, "I don’t want her to have to f—ing spend half of every interview, ‘What’s it like being married to an addict?’ Like, it just doesn’t feel fair to her.”

Shepard revealed that he got the motivation to be sober from his good friend Bradley Cooper.

Of his advice, he shared, "He said, ‘Well, let me tell you this. There’s nothing helpful about a guy that’s 16 years sober, and married to Kristen Bell, and is rich. What’s helpful to somebody is someone who just ate s— and gets back up.’"

Cooper himself has also been on the path of sobriety.
