LeAnn Rimes, known for her hit ‘One Way Ticket,’ rose to fame as a country singer before successfully transitioning to pop music. The American singer-songwriter recently opened up about her experience when the news of her romantic relationship with actor Eddie Cibrian became public. In a recent interview with Flow Space, LeAnn Rimes reflected on how many people held strong opinions about her relationship with Eddie Cibrian.

The 42-year-old singer, who was previously married to professional chef Dean Sheremet from 2002 to 2010, first came across Eddie Cibrian during the production of the film Northern Lights. At the time, Cibrian was married to reality television personality Brandi Glanville, who also starred in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During her conversation with Flow Space, Rimes talked about how the public reacted to her affair with Cibrian and said:

"I realized very quickly that there are a lot of women who’ve been hurt."

She continued by saying:

"Like, I’ve been on both sides of that coin — I’ve been cheated on, too, so I know that feeling. But so many women don’t know what to do with that anger … I was a target that was just easily projected upon. And once I realized that, things got a lot easier."

Rimes stated that instead of taking the matter personally, she came to a realization:

"This is not all my pain to carry. I know what I’m responsible for in the situation and making amends for that. But you know, the world’s pain is not mine to carry, and I think that really got thrown at me for a long time."

For over a decade, LeAnn Rimes and Cibrian have remained strong as a couple since marrying in 2011. Eddie’s two sons, Mason (now 22) and Jake (now 18), whom he shares with his former wife Brandi Glanville, were also present at their wedding. However, they were quite young at the time.

During their Flow Space interview, when the couple was asked about the secret that maintained their successful marriage, Cibrian took the opportunity to answer and jokingly replied:

"Because we are in bed by 7:30!"

There appears to be a cooperative dynamic between the couple and Brandi Glanville when it comes to co-parenting Mason and Jake.
