LiAngelo Ball's girlfriend Rashida Nicole is choosing to "protect" her peace as she announces first pregnancy with the new rapper

LiAngelo Ball's girlfriend, Rashida Nicole, has officially confirmed that she is expecting a child with Ball, after months of social media speculation.

Rashida took to Instagram in a heartfelt post, on June 25, featuring her sporting a white dress as she flaunts her baby bump. In the caption, Nicole opened up about how she feels about her pregnancy journey and said,

"Wish I had all the right words to describe this journey, but I guess if I had to define it, all I can truly say is: I’m grateful, terrified, anxious, nauseous,HANGRY 😂 all of thee above."

She continued

"As a teen mom, I was always hesitant about going thru pregnancy and parenthood again. (Iykyk) I want to thank my daughter for being here for me during this process, always demonstrating unconditional LOVE & reassuring me that, “Everything is alright!” And for now…I choose to protect my peace and this beautiful energy."

LiAngelo Ball began dating Rashida Nicole after publicly splitting from Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star, Nikki Mudarris, after dating for three years. Mudarris had publicly accused Ball of cheating with Nicole, and claimed that he abandoned their family, before their daughter turned 2 months old.

Ball had earlier confirmed his relationship with Nicole by posting a mirror selfie, and she flaunted lavish gifts by the football star including a $187,000 Mercedes-AMG G63. However, Mudarris took to the post to criticize and comment saying,

"You doing all this and still haven't sent your kids no money."

The drama between the three escalated when Nicole announced her pregnancy in April 2025. Nicole and Ball showed up to the 25th BET Awards hosted by Kevin Hart, where they were seen in coordinated outfits.

During their time at the red carpet, a reporter playfully asked Ball to kiss Nicole, to which Ball, with visible irritation on his face said,

"Nah, we good."

Meanwhile, Nicole laughed and turned away. After a video of the incident was posted by The Shade Room on Instagram with the caption, "No kisses for bae?!", Nicole took to the comment section to express her frustration, saying,
