On August 31, music artist Lil Woody met with a fateful accident while he was on his motorcycle.

The mishap happened in Peters Street, Atlanta, from where he was taken to a hospital. As seen in a recent video posted by The Neighborhood Talk, Woody tried to speak while lying on a hospital bed. In the video, he can be heard saying:

“God going to protect those that do the work of the Lord. No matter what goes on, pray, ask for forgiveness. God will come through and protect you at all cost even in the time of pain.”

According to News AZ, the news of Woody’s accident comes months after he was arrested in Atlanta for recklessly performing stunts.

Lil Woody was one of the main witnesses in the Young Thug trial. In December 2024, he spoke on djvlad about his upbringing and struggles in life. He said:

“You know, when I was growing up you didn't have an internet so you know everybody in the hood chilling you feel me like it was it was different from what it is.”

He said there were six boys and four girls in the house where he grew up. He was the seventh child and the youngest boy in the family. His father died when he was very young.

When asked how he felt losing a parent, he said it wasn’t like it affected him too much or not at all. Lil Woody said at the time he suffered a head injury, and he wasn’t aware of what was happening, like how a ten-year-old would normally be.

Lil Woody shared how he went through a head injury as a child, and his suspension from school

Lil Woody shared that when he was a child, he rode a big wheel down the stairs, crashed, and hurt his head. Because of that, he lost his memory, speech, and hearing for some time. He said he could remember the night someone close to him passed away and a few moments from that time, but he couldn’t clearly remember the times they spent together.

Speaking about how his mother died when he was 17, Lil Woody said:

“I think the hospital killed her but you know I'm let God deal with that and them people but they claim it was cancer.”

He remembered that his and his mother’s birthdays were two days apart. The host mentioned Woody’s mother was the only person who had control over him, and Woody said that it was the same till that day.

Lil Woody explained that in high school, he often got into fights and skipped classes. His neighborhood had problems with another one, and since kids from both areas went to the same school, fights happened often. His mom would sometimes come to school, and he would be allowed back. But after his mom passed away, another fight broke out.

Even though he wasn’t involved that time, he was already suspended. When he returned to school after his mom’s death, the school kicked him out on his first day back. He said they didn’t show sympathy and instead gave him withdrawal papers, telling him to enroll in another public school in Atlanta.
