Loose Woman star Kaye Adams pulled from BBC radio show amid bullying investigation

Loose Woman star Kaye Adams has been pulled from her Mornings With Kaye Adams show at BBC Radio Scotland, amid bullying allegations and investigations. Adams has been working with BBC Radio Scotland for more than 15 years and used to host the show several days a week. She has not appeared on the show since October 6th.

Sources, while speaking to Daily Mail UK, claimed that Adams had a meeting with BBC Scotland's new head of audio, Victoria Easton Riley, on October 8, and it did not go well.

"The meeting did not go well and Kaye stormed out. She hasn't been back since and she's not been on air."

Another source added,

"Kaye has been taken off air, she's gone. There have been complaints about her behavior and they've removed her while they investigate it, it's being talked about all over Pacific Quay (BBC Scotland's headquarters). After the Greg Wallace fiasco, they're now getting much tougher on complaints about the talent and are starting to take these things seriously."

What has Kaye Adams' representative said about her BBC show?

A representative for Kaye Adams, while speaking to The Sun, denied bullying allegations and said:

"No complaints have been presented to Miss Adams by the BBC. Further, she has worked for BBC Radio Scotland for more than 15 years and in that time has never had any issue raised about her."

BBC Scotland had refused to comment on the allegations, and a spokesperson for the news company, while speaking to The Sun, said that Adams has not permanently left the organization.

"We would not comment on any individual case. If any complaints of concerns are raised we have robuse internal processes in place to manage these"

Complaints against Kaye were raised under the BBC's 'Call it Out' scheme, which encourages employees to address poor behavior in the workplace. The initiative was set in the aftermath of a scandal involving former MasterChef presenters Greg Wallace and John Torode.

Kaye has also worked with ITV as a presenter for Loose Women for 19 years. Before she began her show, Mornings with Kaye Adams, Kaye had also been hosting her phone-in show on BBC Radio Scotland since 2010. Adams also appeared as a regular panelist on Channel 5's daily morning show The Wright Stuff from 2007 to 2012.

Adams had also presented other shows, including The People Versus, and hosted I Have Got News For You.
