Mariah the Scientist is responding to a concertgoer who trolled her boyfriend, Young Thug, for allegedly tattling to the cops.

The troll attempted to disrupt the singer's performance during her latest show by holding his phone up to her, which read:

"Tell thug he's a [rat emoji]."

However, the songstress brushed the moment off by flashing a thumbs-up to the troll, who mimicked her. For the unversed, he was referring to a newly leaked audio clip where Young Thug can be heard allegedly tattling on Peewee Roscoe to the cops during an interrogation. The latter was accused of opening fire at Lil Wayne's tour bus back in 2015.

While the audio in question has yet to be authenticated, Young Thug has been fighting to maintain his innocence online in recent days, mainly via tweets on X. Mariah the Scientist, Peewee Roscoe, and Lil Baby have all backed him up since the fiasco kicked off last Wednesday.

“They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?” he penned in one tweet on Wednesday, August 27.

Peewee Roscoe also took to X to weigh in:

“Jeff clean as Listerine, man. Clean as ivory soap, ya feel me? I done the time. I did that. That’s what you do. When you go into the interrogation room, that’s what you do,” he said, describing a statement as something “written” and referring to a lineup as “selective.” He continued, “He did what a real street n***a [was supposed to do]," noting that Young Thug “kept it silent” and “kept it overly real.”

Vibe has reported that the nearly two-hour audio is two years old. In it, a man can be heard responding to questions about a string of reported crimes that his current or former associates were allegedly linked to, including Roscoe. However, Young Thug has since explained that he is unsure of who shot at Weezy’s bus.

“They said Roscoe, but I don’t wanna block out y’all’s case by saying Roscoe ain’t do that,” he explained.

HipHopDX also reported that Young Gunna's lawyer, Steve Sadow, backed his claims that he never offered information to prosecutors for a plea deal:

"I was Gunna’s attorney but I am NOT speaking on his behalf. This long post is solely to set out the truth,” he began. “Gunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug’s case. He spent 8 months in jail and was released in Dec. 2022 after entering an Alford plea. Gunna’s plea could not and was not used at Thug’s trial and he was never even named as a witness. He received a 5-yr suspended sentence, with no reporting, no travel restrictions, no living restrictions, AND NO PROBATION."

He concluded:

“Love the street rules and the dry-snitched comments. Oh the fake outrage, same old s**t. Both were charged with RICO. Both faced 20 yrs in prison. Both pled to RICO. Regardless, I’m more than willing to accept the blame for the great deal.”
