Since the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, moved back to the United States in 2020, she and her husband, Prince Harry, have had several changes in their staff. Joining the list of former staff members is their recent Head of Communications, Emily Robinson, who left only months after joining the role.

A spokesperson for Meghan told Us Weekly in a statement, "Ms Robinson oversaw project-based work for a very successful season of With Love, Meghan and additional support for the production company. She did an excellent job and completed these projects with great success.”
Not only that, Robinson joined Meghan’s team in June after previously working for Netflix doing publicity. She is the 10th person to leave the job, out of whom two had been promoted to non-publicity roles.
Looking at the couple's previous PR heads, their global press secretary and head of communications, Ashley Hansen, parted ways with the couple last year. She has now launched her own communications firm. However, Liam Maguire, the director of communications in Europe, and Meredith Maines, the chief communications officer, still hold their roles.
The timing of the news drew attention, as it came just weeks after Meghan Markle faced criticism during Paris Fashion Week. In the viral clip shared by the actress herself, Markle was riding near the Pont de l'Alma tunnel, where Prince Harry's mother, Princess Diana, died in 1997. A source close to them told the Daily Mail,
"Harry was left hurt and upset. Diana’s death was used as a stick to beat his wife with. [Meghan] did not even pass close to the tunnel. The whole thing is a joke, but not a very funny one for Harry."
Meghan Markle's Netflix work
Ever since the couple relocated to California, they signed a huge deal with the streaming giant to produce a host of content. One of those projects includes her latest series, With Love, Meghan, which came out with its second season this year.
In August, the former Suits actress shared, "We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand," adding, "My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”
While talking about the show during a Forbes panel earlier this month, Meghan Markle said,
“I think, looking at that format — again, with a year of [learning] — we’re able to say eight episodes for two seasons, it’s a lot of work. Having done Suits for seven years, I remembered what goes into a production. I also recognize how much people want content in different sizes.”
Meghan Markle further added, “It’s amazing to be able to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes, but how can I give you a recipe in two minutes and where can I share that with you and how that continues to grow As Ever? So, [we’re] exploring all the options of what it could look like.”
As of now, Meghan Markle, who has launched herself as an entrepreneur ever since she came back, preparing for a new product launch under her brand, As Ever.
