Megan Thee Stallion’s lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz was ruled in the rapper’s favor. For context, Megan accused Gramz of defaming her and causing emotional turmoil. Gramz was accused of working with Tory Lanez, the rapper who allegedly shot Megan in her feet back in 2020.

Subsequently, several allegations came out against Gramz. For instance, she was accused of circulating edited videos of the rapper in compromising positions. Per a press release from Megan’s team:

“Today, the jury that presided over Megan Thee Stallion's lawsuit against Milagro Gramz in the Southern District of Florida found defendant Milagro liable for all three counts – defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and promotion of an altered sexual depiction – for spreading false and harmful misinformation on social media.”

The statement continued:

“The jury found that Milagro deliberately harmed Megan with her malicious conduct on social media, resulting in the jury awarding Megan with $75,000. Additionally, under Florida law, Milagro's liability for reposting the deepfake p*rnographic video will also require her to reimburse Megan for legal fees.”

Meanwhile, Milagro Gramz spoke out after the verdict. In a video captured by the Instagram channel, ‘@livebitez,’ she said that she was working on her mixtape. She said this was because it was the only place where one could bully people and talk ill about others. She said:

“So, I am gonna go get on my mixtape sh*t and make sure I channel my energy into my raps and put that out and let that be artistic expression. But, I love you guys so much. I hope that you all can see the bigger picture and that you understand what new media is.”

Milagro Gramz also thanked her fans for their support

Milagro Gramz hoped viewers would understand the effort that goes into every artistic piece of work. Nevertheless, she said she was happy because she stood up for something she had faith in. Not only that, but she mentioned that she followed it all the way till the end. She said she did not need validation from anybody else. She also criticised the ones who spoke about her loss in the lawsuit. In the video, she told them:

“Listen, all I am ever gonna do is block you all. I don’t get on the internet and cry about what you all say so thank you for the engagement and so shoutout to new media. Like I said, thank you to everybody that has supported me.”

Milagro Gramz said:

“I appreciate you guys. I love you guys and I can’t wait for us to get back to it because we ain’t even did a show in a while. So, I am excited about that and child, one chapter closes and another one opens. Don’t let certain things be the end of your world.”

In the press release, Megan’s lawyer, Mari Henderson, said they were grateful that the jury showed the importance of honesty and responsibility on social media. She explained that Milagro Gramz now had to pay Megan money for the harm she caused, as well as extra punishment fees.

She also said that, because of Florida’s rules, Milagro would have to pay Megan’s legal costs for the deepfake issue. She added that this decision showed that spreading harmful false information could lead to serious trouble.
