Miley Cyrus jokes she is ‘going to bring JoJo Siwa back out’ of the closet amid Chris Hughes romance rumors

While netizens have been discussing Siwa's relationship with sports presenter Chris Hughes, Miley Cyrus took the opportunity to have a bit of fun by cracking a joke about JoJo.

Miley Cyrus, who has had a history of drug abuse, has come a long way as she shared that she no longer drinks or consumes drugs. The 32-year-old singer/actress, who has been quite open about her sobriety, recently celebrated Pride Month. Not only did she celebrate Pride Month, but she also shared a video on social media, which was filmed inside a closet.

In the video that has been circulating on the internet since June 8, 2025, Miley Cyrus said:

"Oh my God, I haven’t been in here since sixth grade."

The Wrecking Ball singer went ahead and said:

"Enjoy coming out of the closet if this Pride is the time for you. It shouldn’t be a month — it should be a year, it should be infinite."

Miley Cyrus, before ending the video, as she referenced JoJo, cracked a joke about her, saying:

"I’m going back inside to get more pretzels and find JoJo Siwa and bring her back out."

22-year-old JoJo Siwa, who first met Chris Hughes in April on the reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother, recently broke the news of her relationship with him. The young media personality, who is also a singer and dancer, while she was a part of the above-mentioned reality show, discussed her sexual identity. During her time on Celebrity Big Brother, she thought herself to be a lesbian, but later realized that she was queer. Siwa, on the show, said:

"I've always told myself I’m a lesbian, but I think you — I think being here, I’ve realized, ‘Oh no, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer’. I think that’s really cool. I’m switching letters."

While Miley Cyrus cracked a joke about JoJo Siwa, the latter confirmed that her relationship with Chris Hughes is official

JoJo Siwa, who was previously in a relationship with Kath Ebbs, claimed that her relationship with Chris Hughes is no longer platonic. On the contrary, they are quite serious, as they made their relationship official with a selfie, which they shared on Snapchat on June 1, 2025.
