Miley Cyrus credits one conversation with Harrison Ford for the fortune she now boasts.
The Hannah Montana actress, 32, and Ford, 82, are friends, but according to the Daily Mail, she claims she had known him for 'quite a while.' The former child star made headlines in August 2024 when she made history by becoming the youngest person to ever be named a Disney Legend, which happened at the D23 convention.
At the time, Ford and Jamie Lee Curtis were both in attendance to present the award, with Cyrus later conceding on Apple's The Zane Lowe Show that they were both, 'on my a** about different things.'
Speaking with Lowe, Cyrus said:
"I've know Harrison Ford for quite a while, just just growing up in Disney and been in the same circles." She added, "So he goes, 'So what are you up to? Are you in the studio making an album, or what are you doing?'" Miley Cyrus went on, "I said, 'Well, I have an idea.' I said, 'Actually, you know I have something. I made something. I have a PDF on my phone I could show you."

The singer then elucidated to Ford her plans of turning Something Beautiful into Somewhere Beautiful, which would see her invite her friends for musical experiences in picturesque areas like forests and pyramids. But Ford was reportedly not too keen on such an idea, as he told the Flowers singer:
"Yeah, you really want to go and set up in a forest and do what?'" She continued, "Like he's like 'What?' He's like, 'You're going to bring a crew you got.' He's like, 'Looks expensive.'" Cyrus then dropped the plan because "Harrison Ford made a lot of sense."
Now, Miley Cyrus' forthcoming album will instead be a "multi-sensory project" that, according to Parade, has been referred to as a "one-of-a-kind cinematic experience." It comes out this May 30, while the musical film drops in theaters this June 21, but for one night only.
“The film is my way of touring,” the Grammy winner said. “That’s why I’m putting it into theaters, because it’s something you can watch night after night and you get to discover and you get to feel like you’re a part of a performance, but I don’t have to tax myself in that way.”
Miley Cyrus' next album features 13 tracks, as well as collaborations with Brittany Howard for Walk of Fame and Naomi Campbell for Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved.
