Tom Cruise has portrayed IMF agent Ethan Hunt in the action spy film Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning. The film is the 8th installment in the successful franchise and a direct sequel to 2023's Dead Reckoning Part One. It will be released theatrically on May 23, 2025, by Paramount Pictures.
