YouTuber Austin McBroom, in a recent video, congratulated his ex-wife, Catherine Paiz, on expecting a baby with her new husband. McBroom noted that his kids with Paiz had called him before Paiz made the announcement official on social media,

"Um they're having a baby...exciting. I will say that my kids called me before the announcement and told me they called me to surprise me. Which I was happy about. Um and the kids are happy, which makes me happy. So, that's amazing. Again, congratulations to them."

He continued,

"Um and I hope you guys, I think enough time has passed so you guys can kind of like let Catherine live her life and let me live her life separately. And not have to like drag us into each other's lives."

Paiz took to Instagram stories on November 10 to break the news that she is expecting a baby with husband Igor Ten. Paiz had announced news of her wedding to Igor Ten on September 28, less than two years after her split from Austin McBroom.

Catherine Paiz, on her Instagram stories, posted a video from two weeks ago where she talks about being "curious" and "confused" regarding her symptoms and wanting to take a pregnancy test. She then revealed a positive pregnancy test.
