Amid rumors that the two are ready to tie the knot, T.J. Holmes referred to Amy Robach as my person, my partner, my spouse" and the "love of my life."
Despite the exposure of their workplace romance scandal in 2022, the former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchors have continued their relationship. In the May 21 episode of their I Do Part 2 podcast, they sparked curiosity among fans when they hinted at being more than just partners:
"I'm T.J. Holmes—alongside my friend, my partner, my podcast cohost Amy Robach," the 47-year-old said. "My person, my partner, my spouse."
Amy, 52, then jokingly suggested that he also refer to her as "love of my life," to which he responded:
"Love of my life — there it is! That you had to feed me that line is a little disturbing."
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach's relationship explored as the two may be ready to take things to the next level:
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach made headlines when their affair was exposed in November, 3 years ago, while they were still legally married to Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue, respectively. Just recently, the latter was spotted sporting a large diamond ring on her wedding ring finger during the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, sparking rumors that their nuptials may be forthcoming.
During the segment, as reported by Page Six, Amy explained to listeners why T.J. is hesitant to be overly affectionate while referring to their relationship status.
“I think you probably avoided saying it because it’s overused all the time on all the reality shows we watch and you roll your eyes when people call each other the love of their lives,” she explained. “Then we look up and two months later, they’re broken up. So I think you probably tried not to use that.”
Shortly after their affair was exposed, the two filed for divorce from their spouses. In the years since, they have categorically maintained that they were all but legally split from their partners when they linked up, though they were sacked from the ABC News show nonetheless.
Page Six has reported that the pair moved in together just last year. Robach was first married to Tim McIntosh, though she later divorced him. She then married Andrew Shue, 58, in 2010. As for T.J. Holmes, he was first married to Amy Ferson from 2004 to 2007 and then to Marilee Fiebig from 2010 to 2023. Fiebig and Shue have since moved on from their former spouses with each other.
"Mentally, emotionally, we've absolutely agreed to commit to each other," Amy said in an April 2024 episode of their podcast. "I have said this to you, and I believe you've said it to me as well, that I want to be with you for the rest of my life." She added, "I want a life partner. I want someone who is with me. I like spending the night with you and waking up with you."
At the time, she did concede that they hadn't "figured the marriage thing out yet."
"It's not for anyone else," Amy said of their bond. "I kind of just want to do the vows just you and me."
At the time of writing, rumors of their engagement have yet to be confirmed, as neither T.J. Holmes nor Amy Robach has commented on the same.
