"Never beating the lesbian allegations" - Jodie Turner-Smith and Nancy Gomez share a kiss on Instagram

Jodie Turner-Smith and Nancy Smith shared images of them kissing each other on their respective Instagram stories, on May 22, with the caption,

"Never beating the lesbian allegations."

Gomez, reposted the image with the caption,

"Like ever lol."

Jodie and Nancy have shared a close friendship, which came to public eye ever since they attended the Venice Film Festival in Italy in September, 2022. The two were then photographed holding hands as they took a daytime stroll in Los Angeles in December, 2023, after Jodie' ex husband, Joshua Jackson, was seen holding hands with Lupita Nyong'O, according to People.

The two attended the 2025 Coachella together when Jodie Turner-Smith posted a video of them laughing together with the caption,

"listen… we went to coachella for MEG", referring to Megan Thee Stallion.

Earlier, the two also attended the Los Angeles Lakers' game in December, 2023 together. The two allegedly seemed to appear close after Jodie filed for divorce from Joshua Jackson in September, 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences" while requesting to share custody of their three-year old daughter, Juno.

While it's not clear what led Jodie Turner-Smith to file for divorce from her husband of nearly four years, Joshua Jackson, in September, 2023, Jodie in a February, 2024 interview with The Times, revealed how she's coping up with the separation.

"I'm enjoying not having to focus on a man. Men take up a lot of space!"

While talking about her marriage, she said,

"I don't think it's a failure. We obviously had a beautiful moment together. And now it's time for a new moment for both of us. And how exciting! The bravest thing in the world is to recognize when something's not working and to make a move, and I always want to set that kind of example for my daughter."

At the time of her divorce, a source close to Jodie, while speaking to People in an article published on October 5, 2023, said,

"She decided that she is done. They are on very different paths in life," the source continued. "Jodie loves being a mom. She also loves working."

The actress first met Jackson at Usher's birhtday party in 2018. In 2019, the two reportedly tied the knot in a secret wedding. The two share a daugther, Juno and in legal documents obtained by People, Jodie requested the court to grant joint custody of their daughter.
