The internet can't stop poking fun at Emma Stone for losing her cool around a bee at this year's Cannes Film Festival.

In photos going viral online, the Easy A actress can be seen striking a pose on the red carpet before she spots a bee and tries to swat it away. Standing alongside her are Pedro Pascal and Austin Butler, both of whom seemingly found the situation amusing.

Fans have since begun cracking jokes at the actress' expense, such as this one user who penned on X:

"New meme unlocked"

Here's how the rest of the internet is reacting:

"not her clinging to pedro," one user jokingly pointed out.
"Poor girl, look at her face. That bee was definitely her nemesis in its past life," someone else speculated.
"if anyone is gonna have an awesome "interrupted by a bee face" it's her! that fourth photo has me dead," another chimed in.
"like imagine being friends with her?? chaos and giggles 24/7," a fourth user posited.

The comments didn't end there:

"She’s an icon everytime she leaves the house," one user quipped.
"Lady just delivered 3 new meme shots," another pointed out.
"Bee came for Emma’s spotlight lol," someone else chimed in.
"Not the bee trying to get its own invite to the afterparty," yet another joked.

While a large number of users continued to rip apart the meme, a few took issue with her outfit, joking that it looked like she was wearing a bib.

Everything we know about Emma Stone's new movie

Emma Stone graced the festival with her presence for the premiere of Ari Aster's new movie, Eddington, this Friday. The Western-style thriller from A24 chronicles the nation's contentious politics and conspiracy theories, rolling into the festival as one of the most anticipated films.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, during the credits, Aster and his cast—Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Luke Grimes, Clifton Collins Jr.—all stood up to accept a 5-minute standing ovation from the crowd. The director, known for Midsommar, said to the crowd:

"I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what you think, I feel very privileged to be here. This is a dream come true. I don’t know. Sorry?”

The Hollywood Reporter chief film critic David Rooney said of the film:

“Essentially a modern Western marbled with a vein of dark comedy, the movie is neither suspenseful nor funny enough to work as either. Mostly, it’s a distancing slog.”
