NFL star Aaron Rodgers reportedly married, reveals the wedding took place 'months ago'

Future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers has officially taken the plunge and gotten married. During a June 10 press conference, the newest Pittsburgh Steeler confirmed the news, claiming it’s been "a couple of months" since the ceremony. After confirming the news, Aaron Rodgers elected not to offer additional information on the topic.

This news was confirmed mere days after Rodgers signed his new contract with the Steelers. In a photo celebrating his new (and potentially final) NFL contract, he was spotted wearing what appeared to be a wedding band. The band was also visible during a public outing where Rodgers was spotted last month.

This denotes a complete change of pace for Aaron Rodgers, who has usually been vocal about his opinions until the media slammed him for his approach to the COVID-19 vaccine. In the time since, the mercurial athlete has made a concerted effort to remain extremely private, apart from his weekly appearances on The Pat McAfee Show.

Aaron Rodgers - Married in secret

In late 2024, Aaron Rodgers confirmed he was no longer single during one of his Pat McAfee Show appearances. When discussing the topic of Christmas gifts, the quarterback shared:

“There was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn’t showed up yet. I was waiting on this to show up, it showed up today.”

Once McAfee had a moment to process the piece of news that had just been dropped, he responded, “Spears?” in reference to the pop legend. Rodgers responded:

“Not Brittany Spears, no, this is Brittani with an ‘I’” before going on to say, "It's a good feeling, boys. It is."

Not much more is known about Brittani as she does have public social media accounts.

Prior to his recent marriage, Aaron Rodgers had a dating history filled with familiar faces. Before Brittani, the gridiron maverick was romantically linked to Mallory Edens, a model and daughter of one of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks primary owners. Before that, he was in a relationship with actress Shailene Woodley until they eventually called off their engagement in February 2022. Amidst his dating history are also past relationships with Olivia Munn, Kelly Rohrback, and Danica Patrick.

In his 2024 Netflix docuseries, Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, the legendary athlete gave an honest take on his dating history, admitting that he:

"didn’t do myself any favors with some of the girls I dated."

On the topic of life in the limelight, Rodgers lamented:

“I definitely hated it at first — like, really despised it. I enjoyed my private life. I enjoyed being able to go places. But from Super Bowl MVP, MVP, State Farm commercials, that got a little bit more difficult.”

Hopefully, with the recent changes in his life, the iconic gunslinger will be able to leave it all on the field in what projects to be his last hurrah in the NFL.
