"Nobody was honest" - Ariana Biermann reflects on her relationship with Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann 

Television personality Ariana Biermann, in a recent interview with US Weekly, wanted to set the record straight about spending her parents' money. Biermann informed the publication that the existing online narrative (Biermann spending her parents' money) was false.

During the season premiere of Next Gen NYC, which aired on June 3, 2025, Ariana Biermann alleged that her parents, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, used her money to pay their bills.

During a confessional interview, Ariana Biermann stated that:

"I can't say exactly what they used it on because I just found out it was gone two years ago. I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest. There was no transparency and I have no idea where it went."

The daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, 23-year-old Ariana Biermann, who believes in doing things on her own terms, has also made her way to fame. She stars in the brand new Bravo TV reality show, Next Gen NYC, as they follow a group of close friends going through the ups and downs of young adulthood.

Some cast members of the show hail from prominent families, while the others have established and built their own identity within the industry. As a tight-knit group, they aim to redefine the meaning of success, challenge various societal norms, and deal with their romantic and personal relationships in New York City.

Ariana Biermann opened up to US Weekly about how she wants to utilize every opportunity that comes her way and support herself. This period has been the most financially stable for her as well as her parents, according to Biermann. As per US Weekly:

"I just continue to build up and make my own money, support myself as being a 23-year-old and just continue to try to take every opportunity I can to build back up everything. I think I’m the [most] financially stable I’ve ever been in my life, which is awesome. And my mom’s doing great too. She’s working really hard and has a lot of great things going for her, and my dad’s working too — so everything’s going in the right direction and moving forward."

Ariana Biermann reflects on her relationship with Kroy Biermann

Kim Zolciak married Kroy Biermann in 2011, and in 2013, he formally adopted and took the responsibility of Ariana and her older sister Brielle. While growing up, Ariana and Kroy shared a good and healthy relationship, however, things took a turn when Kim filed for divorce in May 2023. Zolciak and Biermann were married for 11 years.

Biermann, regarding Kroy, said:

"Growing up he really was my best friend — more than my mom was for a while. I would say that I’m trying to still have [a relationship]. We’re definitely not as close as we used to be, and I don’t really talk to him very often just because of this tough situation that we’re in. But I really do try to keep the divorce and my relationship with him and my mom separate. It just gets hard at times."

With the ensuing divorce, Biermann concluded the interview, expressing her wishes for financial stability in her family's lives. Although money has been a point of contention within her family, she confessed that they've patched up their relationship over the last few years.

She added that she never wants financial matters to affect her future relationships with family or otherwise.
