Denise Richards' daughter, Sami Sheen, is getting candid about the difficulties of tackling OCD.
Sheen, the daughter of Charlie Sheen, recently took to TikTok to open up about life with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Noting that it irks her when someone brushes the illness off as something that requires them to “keep [their] room clean and organized,” Sami Sheen, 21, said in her rant:
“Nothing aggravates me more than when someone is like, ‘Oh, my god. I’m so OCD I need to keep my room clean and organized,” she said in the July 27 video.
“That is not OCD.” She went on, “All right. Well, I’m so OCD, that even if I buy something from the grocery store that day and I read the expiration date over and over and over and over and over again, somehow I will convince myself it's a fake expiration date, and it's actually expired a year ago.”
However, this makes it even more difficult for Sami Sheen, because she thinks that if she consumes it, she is “going to get violently ill,” adding:
“So I have to throw it away and starve.”
She captioned the video:
“So fun! #ocd.”

The National Institute of Mental Health defines OCD as:
"A disorder marked by uncontrollable and recurring thoughts (obsessions), repetitive and excessive behaviors (compulsions), or both. OCD symptoms can begin any time but usually start between late childhood and young adulthood."
As for Sami Sheen, she has over 192,000 followers on TikTok alone, though she is most known for being an On*yF*ns model. Her video comes during a rocky time for her family, as just days ago, her stepfather, Aaron Phypers, made headlines when he accused Richards of infidelity and substance abuse.
As reported by Page Six, Phypers wrote a bombshell letter to his family and friends, accusing his ex-wife of an "ongoing affair" and that she needed an “intervention” for her alleged Vicodin addiction that took a toll on her 14-year-old daughter, Eloise. He claimed:
“For nearly a decade, she has struggled with an addiction to Vicodin (which she jokingly calls ‘Vitamin D’ or ‘white chestnuts’), mixed with Adderall and tequila.”
“Some of you know this has been an issue for over 20 years. She’s no longer eating real meals, and I’ve witnessed her pass out from substances — putting herself and others in danger, including while driving with our daughter.”
Of the alleged affair with Special Forces soldier Rudy Reyes, he said:
“She begged me not to leave, saying it was nothing and that she only loved me. Then, she denied it all — even the explicit messages I found. Despite her promise to stop, more lies and shocking evidence emerged.”
Phypers filed for divorce on July 7, claiming that he discovered her affair in April and that they had continued their ways despite Richards' promise to end things. He also claimed that they would meet at hotels.
Richards, on the other hand, filed for a temporary restraining order after the divorce filing, alleging domestic abuse. Although Phyper denied these claims, she was granted the same. A court hearing is scheduled for next month, where it will be determined if the order will continue. As per Page Six, Richards alleged:
“Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack.”
The outlet has also reported that Phypers was previously heard on camera during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode telling his then-wife that he would "crush" her hand. However, he is maintaining his innocence against her allegations.
As of this writing, Sami Sheen has yet to address the drama head-on, though she did take to TikTok recently to reflect on navigating a toxic dynamic. Sami Sheen said in the video:
"If you're dating someone toxic, but you don't really know if they're toxic … You need to ask yourself: if you had a daughter and she was dating a man like this, what would you tell her?"
Noting that she has been in similar situations and has had to counsel some friends and family experiencing a similar situation, Sami Sheen gave her two cents to all those struggling to leave a toxic relationship:
"I understand more than anyone [that] it is so hard and almost feels impossible sometimes to get out of a toxic relationship and the judgement from people when you keep going back to that person."
