The internet is weighing in on Kim Kardashian's 12-year-old daughter North West's outfit choices in Rome.
After the reality television star, 44, was slammed for dressing her daughter in a corset and miniskirt while on their vacation in Rome, photos have emerged of the latter sporting a denim jacket, denim miniskirt, and chunky shoes. Her blue hair was striking, but fans were preoccupied with the outfit change instead.
Scores pointed out that the new ensemble was far more appropriate for a girl, such as this one user who penned on X:
"Yesss now this is cute and way more appropriate"
The comments didn't end there, as many also took shots at Kim Kardashian's role as a mother:
"I guess Kim Kardashian really saw all the backlash online and dressed North West as a 12 year old. Glad to see social media contributing to effective parenting," one user remarked.
"okay north not bad… finally," another chimed in.
"This is far more better the previous one she put, Corset? Like fr," someone else noted.
"Kim always trying too hard but at least North looks more age appropriate," a fourth user opined.
The comments didn't end there:
"why are you letting a 12yo child wear a corset… sorry this is so insane and damaging to me," one user weighed in.
"not north being a child fashion icon?! oh perioddddd," someone else gushed over the child.
"Okay North ate this look up too," another quipped.
"This one is age appropriate there’s no need to put a 12 year old in a corset," yet another echoed.
Nearly everyone online found the new outfit far more age-appropriate.

Kim Kardashian shares North, as well as Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with Kanye West. She was married to him from 2014 to 2022, when they had a public fallout. As reported by Page Six, the Grammy-winning rapper has alleged in the past that the Skims founder and the rest of the Kardashians had stripped him of his rights as a father:
“DONT WANT TO JUST ‘SEE’ MY KIDS. I NEED TO RAISE THEM. I NEED TO HAVE SAY,” he wrote via X in March. “MY DAUGHTERS WEAR LIPSTICK AND PERFUME.”
As reported by AllHipHop, he has also long voiced his grievances about his daughter using TikTok and dressing too mature for her age. Back in 2022, he took to Instagram to note:
“SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?”
As of this writing, the rapper has yet to address the debacle himself.
