LeBron James has weighed in on his ongoing feud with Drake.

The legendary NBA player, who was spotted dancing to Kendrick Lamar's diss track Not Like Us in July, sat down for an interview on Complex's 360 with Speedy. When asked about his longtime friendship with the Canadian rapper that has since turned sour, and if there would always be love between them, LeBron James said:

"Always wish him the best, obviously. Different places, right now, currently," the star athlete said. "He's doing his thing, I'm doing mine, but it's always love for sure."

Here's everything we know about the drama brewing between Drake and LeBron James:

LeBron James seemingly added fuel to the fire between him and Drake just this past July, when he was spotted dancing at a day party in Cannes with his wife, Savannah, and business partner Maverick Carter. In a video that quickly went viral on X, the sportsman was seen grooving to the tunes of the infamous Drake diss track.

He also famously attended Kendrick Lamar's Pop Out show in 2024, at the height of the latter's tensions with the Canadian rapper. While Drake has largely been silent on the debacle, he has since replaced the tattoo of LeBron James on his arm with that of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a fellow Canadian baller.

Per Hot 97, Drake also took shots at the latter in his “Fighting Irish Freestyle" track:

“How I go 6 to 23 but not LeBron," he rapped at the Wireless Festival.

Fans also think he was referencing the player in his “What Did I Miss?” track with the lyrics:

“I saw bro went to Pop Out with them, but been d—k riding gang since ‘Headlines.’”

As reported by Complex, Drake doubled down on the jabs at his former friend and icon in a freestyle earlier this year. At the time, he seemingly suggested that he did not want the tensions between them to escalate to the point where he would have to snitch, though he did not mention any names:

"Talkin' 'bout we family, well, I'm not the cousin to visit / God forbid we ever got to tarnish your public image / All that brother talk as if I really discovered a sibling," Drake rapped.

As of this writing, Drake has yet to respond to LeBron James' latest claims, and he never name-dropped his former friend officially.
