Offset has reportedly petitioned for spousal support from his estranged wife, renowned rapper Cardi B.
While the latter has since moved on to a new beau, Stefon Diggs, her legal battles with Offset, the father of her children, rage on. TMZ Hip Hop has reported that the former Migos rapper, 33, requested an unspecified amount in spousal support earlier this month, in addition to sharing joint custody over their three kids.
He is also requesting that his home serve as their main residence, and a co-parenting schedule that keeps their best interests in mind. Furthermore, he is requesting that each party pay for their own counsel fees.
Fans are now wondering about the net worths of Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, and Cardi B, legally known as Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar.
Celebrity Net Worth places the former's net worth at $40 million. He is most known for having been a part of the trio Migos, alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff.
As for Cardi B, 32, she has a substantially higher net worth than her estranged beau: $80 million, Celebrity Net Worth reports. The outlet claims that an estimated $50 million of this is the valuation of her music catalog rights, though this figure is expected to rise over time.
However, the Daily Mail has reported that her net worth is $101 million, which also makes her the second richest female rapper of all time.
Cardi B and Offset's messy divorce explored:
BBC has reported that Cardi B filed for divorce from the Migos alum back in August 2024. At the time, she petitioned the court to grant her primary custody of their children: Kulture, 5, Wave, 2, and their then-unborn third daughter. Per the Daily Mail, she cited,
"Irreconcilable differences between the parties" as the reason for their divorce.
At the time, the rapper's rep said:
“[The divorce filing was] not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable.”
However, things have been tumultuous for the two, especially in the limelight. In December 2024, Offset took to social media to slam the mother of his children:
He claimed that she look[ed] like the hoe” and was “focus[ed] on d—.” Cardi fired back: “So dating because I’m single means I’m just worried about d—?? You sound like a dummy,” before later adding: “F— off and sign the papers TODAY.”
The Daily Mail has also reported that the rapper was initially looking to take a DNA test for all their children, but Cardi B proclaimed,
"[she would] never do a DNA test because all my kids look like their father" and that "the proof and the receipt is in my kids' face."
She continued,
"When my daughter will be six months, I'll post the picture and y'all will see she looks just like her baby daddy. My baby daddy has never asked me for any DNA tests because he knows when he's hitting."
Per the outlet, Cardi B has filed for equitable distribution of their personal assets and for Offset to pay spousal support. However, he is leaving the decisions pertaining to child support matters to the court.
As for the Bodak Yellow rapper, she has been spotted on multiple occasions with Stefon Diggs, 31. They spent Memorial Day weekend together in Florida, the Daily Mail reports. Offset, on the other hand, has been linked to Melanie Jayda, a model, though this remains to be confirmed.
