That’s So Raven actor Orlando Brown has made headlines thanks to a very agitated and chaotic video he recently shared on his social media. In a video that’s now gone viral, Brown told Raven-Symoné, his former co-star, to “get away” from her wife, Miranda Maday, whom he referred to as a “negative influence.”

"Get rid of that chick man get rid of that chick man. What are you doing? Raven, get rid of that chick, sis get rid of her. Bro. What are you doing?" He said in the video.

In the video, Brown insists that people around Raven should help her. At one point, he even weirdly alleges that Maday has Raven “tied up” and calls her “that white chick,” expressing his opinion of their interracial romance.

"You ain't got no business with that white chick. Get that girl away from you, just tripping out here man." He added.

Although many dismissed the outburst as merely the latest manifestation of Orlando Brown’s erratic behavior—which has included public outbursts in recent years—others expressed concern, criticism, and even support for his claims. One fan wrote:

Other Instagram users also chimed in, supporting and agreeing with Brown’s statements. Some even claimed that Raven had changed after her marriage.

Not all supported Brown’s statements, as a few pointed out that it was not up to social media—or Orlando Brown—to dictate Raven-Symoné’s relationship with Miranda Maday.

A look into Raven-Symoné's recent statements addressing Orlando Brown's behavior

Raven-Symoné appears to be unshaken by the public scrutiny and comments. In a previous interview on The Jason Lee Show earlier this year, The Cheetah Girls star spoke about her relationship with Orlando Brown.

"I have to be careful about what I say about Orlando because — I’m going to keep it 100, this is a safe space — Orlando is very smart. His tongue quips are faster than mine, and I know that. He could come off the dome like (snaps fingers) that." She said.

During the show, she talked about how she knew him both before he was addicted to drugs and after he overcame it. She praised his comedic talent, calling him a “comedy genius” and stating that he is still out there making people laugh.

Raven said that she is aware of Brown’s strange behavior and claims against her online, but she supposedly chooses to stay away from it.

"I’m secure enough in my bank account and my life where I don’t have to dig that deep down to take it. And I also don’t have to defend myself about anything because that was his experience." She said.

The two famously appeared together on That’s So Raven from 2003 to 2007, along with Anneliese van der Pol (Vibe). While the show holds a special place in the Disney Channel archives, Brown and Symoné’s relationship behind the scenes has been strained by controversies.

Orlando Brown has previously claimed that the two of them had a sexual relationship and has also commented on Raven-Symoné’s private life—claims which she has neither confirmed nor denied publicly.
