The Phoenix Film Critics Society has officially announced its winners for the 2025 awards. The winners were voted by Arizona-based professional critics and film journalists.

Paul Thomas Anderson's film One Battle After Another led the 2025 Phoenix Film Critics Society awards with Best Picture and seven additional wins. The film bagged multiple awards across directing, acting, writing, and editing. Ryan Coogler's Sinners also earned multiple technical and music awards and took Best Ensemble Acting.

Phoenix Film Critics Society's top ten films of 2025 are as follows:

  • Frankenstein
  • Hamnet
  • Marty Supreme
  • One Battle After Another (Winner: Best Picture)
  • Sinners
  • Song Sung Blue
  • Sorry, Baby
  • The Life of Chuck
  • The Long Walk
  • Train Dreams

The official website of the Phoenix Film Critics Society reads,

"Founded in October 2000 by David Ramsey and Roger Tennis. We started with ten original members. The PFCS quickly gained attention from the major film studios and independent film distributors. One of the reasons for the recognition was that all members are established film critics in Arizona."

It also adds,

"The Society presents an entire slate of awards each year. To qualify, films must be screened in the Phoenix area per the important dates released every year . Screenings can be in a theater or on available video formats. Only critic members of the Society may vote. Voting now takes place in mid-December and winners are announced soon after. The films must open in theaters prior to the end of the year to be eligible for awards consideration."
