More about Kodak Black's drug abuse
Kodak Black is not hiding his drug addiction. His recent performance on On the Radar isn't the first time the artist has admitted to using drugs.
Kodak Black's drug abuse history dates to 2015, when he was arrested for marijuana possession. In 2022, Black was charged with oxycodone trafficking, and in 2023, he was suspected of cocaine possession, which turned out to be prescription oxycodone.
In 2023, after he was apprehended for possession of cocaine in Plantation, Florida, Black, in a December, 2023, Instagram live, denied being on drugs at the time of his arrest. Almost a year later, in November 2024, Instagram live session, Black responded to a fan comment which said, "love when Kodak sober", to which he responded, saying,
"bi**h, I aint' sober. I look sober? I'm never sober, bi**h. For what? For what? Look at this money. Look at all this cash. Sober for what? I'm too young to die sober."
Black also raised concerns when he appeared on Kai Cenat's Mafiathon 2 livestream, where he could be seen acting strange and taking an unnamed white substance. Black was also seen rambling throughout the video, and incoherently speaking to Cenat while profusely sweating, when fans doubted that he's back to abusing drugs.
