Predator: Killer of Killers is the recent entry in the franchise that has been going on for several decades. The animated action sci-fi anthology film is helmed by Dan Trachtenberg, who also made the previous entry of the franchise, called Prey. The film was released on June 6, 2025, on Hulu. Here is the official synopsis:
This original animated anthology follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause.
Predator: Killer of Killers reveals Naru’s fate after Prey
The film reveals what happened to the character of Naru after the events of Prey. In the film's epilogue, we see Ursa inside a cryostasis where she is frozen. One of the warriors who is stored there is Naru, who is alive but in a deep sleep.
It appears that she has been stored on Yautja's home planet for a long time. The title sequence of Prey featured a painting of a Comanche, which featured Yautja that did not come back to Earth. Instead of hunting Naru, they kidnapped and froze her for more than a century. They are a warrior clan, and the film's subtitle, Killer of Killers, is a direct reference to them.
Killer of Killers is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who also wrote its story with Micho Robert Rutare. The screenplay is by Rutare. It features three storylines set in different settings and timelines, but the presence of the Predator alien weaves them together. Here is a list of its cast members who have provided their voice work.
