Ray J is voicing his support for Sean "Diddy" Combs as his ongoing trial for sex trafficking and racketeering rages on.

As reported by Us Weekly, during an interview with Piers Morgan, Ray J, 44, voiced his belief that his longtime friend will soon be acquitted and will walk out of jail. The disgraced mogul, 55, is currently behind bars, having pleaded not guilty to all charges.

“I honestly think that Diddy will get out, and I think … there’s nothing here,” he claimed. “I think they made their point. Whatever they were trying to make, your point is made. Now let Diddy out. Free Diddy!”

Here's how Ray J feels about Diddy as he voices his support for the latter's speedy release

On the Tuesday, May 28 episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, Ray J said:

“I personally think it’s gonna happen faster than a lot of people think, because I think we’re all starting to see what this is, even if you’re on the other side of it. I mean, the justice system is the justice system. Where does this fit?… It’s off. I don’t like it and I want to be vocal about it.”

Diddy has since been confronting 'one count of racketeering conspiracy; two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution,' Hot New Hip Hop has reported.

Over the last 11 days of trial, jurors saw testimonies from Kid Cudi, Cassie Ventura, Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard, and more as prosecutors presented their case against Diddy.

Ray J's comments echo the sentiments of Diddy's prosecutors, who, according to NBC News, all believe he will walk free soon. Attorney Rachel Maimin, a former federal prosecutor for the Southern District of New York, said of the trial that is expected to go on for eight weeks:

“This is a very long trial, and all of the evidence doesn’t come in through one witness." The criminal defense attorney went on, “Just because the evidence hasn’t been presented yet doesn’t mean they don’t have it.”

Ray J also weighed in on Cassie Ventura's claims that she was allegedly abused at the hands of Diddy, as well as Kid Cudi's claims that his car was firebombed and house ravaged through after the mogul learned he was dating Ventura:

“With Kid Cudi going on and saying everything that happened, but then ended up saying, ‘Cassie played both of us’... Where are we trying to go?” He added, “It’s entertaining, for sure... but at the end of it all, it’s like, ‘This is what Diddy is being charged for, and this is what he possibly might serve a lot of jail time for?’ I don’t understand it."

He said of the trial:

“I think it’s kind of becoming a circus, and with all the allegations, and now with everybody explaining what’s happening in the bedroom... It just sounds crazier and crazier and freakier and weirder."

Ray J also doubled down on his love for Diddy, claiming that he still sees him as a mentor.

“This is word to my mom and kids, he’s always inspired me to be great,” he told Morgan.

Ray J joines Kanye West, Amber Rose and Boosie Badazz in supporting the disgraced mogul.
