Cohen mentioned the idea of keeping separate accounts, and Rebecca explained that while they did that, they also had a shared fund for their kids.

She added that they both contributed to this fund on a quarterly basis. Meanwhile, Jerry O’Connell chimed in:

“These are the best questions, Andy. This is why you are number one. I have to say we actually throttle how much money we put into that account sometimes depending on who's working more.”

Rebecca Romijn added:

“The one who’s not working gets a little bit of a break and the one who is working puts in a little more. And we really tag team with work. You know, we also decided when our girls were born that one of us would always stay home with our daughters. So, no one else is ever going to raise them.”

Andy Cohen commented that it worked well because she was busy filming Star Trek in Canada for six months each year.

“We had a couple dates in Las Vegas and then I flew home and I needed a ride home from the airport. And I called Jerry and he drove me home and basically never left.”
