Reminders of Him trailer teases a woman’s journey of love and redemption in the Colleen Hoover adaptation

Reminders of Him is a forthcoming film in the romantic drama genre. Directed by Vanessa Caswill, it is an official adaptation of Colleen Hoover's namesake best-selling 2022 novel. Hoover has also penned the screenplay with Lauren Levine. It is slated to be released theatrically by Universal Pictures on March 13, 2026. Here is the official synopsis as per Letterboxd:

Kenna Rowan returns to her hometown after serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake. She hopes to reconnect with her young daughter, though everyone is intent on keeping them apart. Only one person in the area hasn’t shunned her, and that’s the local bar owner Ledger Ward, who becomes an important part of Kenna’s life.

Reminders of Him official trailer released

Universal Pictures has released the official trailer for Reminders of Him. The two-minute-and-49-second-long trailer begins with Kenna Rowan working at a shop where a guy named Scotty Landry shows up. Scotty buys something, which leads to the beginning of their relationship. The two fall in love, but things change after they meet with an accident. The crash results in Scotty's death and Kenna is sent to a seven-year jail term.

After completing her term, Kenna struggles to find a job as she returns to her hometown to reconnect with her daughter. Amid all that, she meets Ledger Ward, a bar owner. Overall, the trailer shows a glimpse into a girl's journey of love and redemption as she tries to lead a normal life.

Reminders of Him is produced by Colleen Hoover, Lauren Levine, Grant Scharbo and Gina Matthews under their banners of Heartbones Entertainment and Little Engine Productions. Its cast members include,
