Robert Pattinson starrer Die, My Love is slated to release theatrically on November 7, 2025. The actor said that it was a challenge for him to play a normal character when he was frequently portraying "freaks" on screen. In an Icon Magazine interview, he said:

"At one point, I really wanted to play some normal guys. And it’s actually kind of difficult to play a normal person when you’re used to playing freaks and stuff.”

Pattinson was referring to his role in the forthcoming film. Here, he plays a guy who is trying to navigate the deteriorating mental health of his wife. In an earlier interview, Pattinson had echoed his sentiment of playing freaks in several films.

“They just find it so easy, and they're like 'Just dance, it's just music playing, just dance.'. And I'm like, 'I'm telling you, I'm going to have a mental breakdown when this happens. We need to either choreograph it or cut it.' And they're like, 'Just dance, stop being a freak.'"

Die, My Love is helmed by Lynne Ramsay, who has also written it with Enda Walsh and Alice Birch. It's produced by Jennifer Lawrence, Martin Scorsese, Molly Smith, Andrea Calderwood, Justine Ciarrocchi, Thad Luckinbill, and Trent Luckinbill. It's an adaptation of Ariana Harwicz's namesake French novel.

Besides Robert Pattinson, the film also stars Lawrence, LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte, Sissy Spacek, Gabrielle Rose, Debs Howard, Sarah Lind, and Marcus Della Rosa.

In an IndieWire interview, Pattinson revealed that he nearly had a nervous breakdown before filming a dance scene for the film. He said,

“I did this movie with Lynne Ramsay, and she’s a really good dancer. And Jennifer Lawrence is a really good dancer. They just find it so easy. They’re like, ‘Just dance, it’s just music playing, just dance,' I was like, ‘I’m going to have a mental breakdown when this happens. We need to either choreograph it or cut it.’ And they’re like, ‘No, just dance, stop being all freak.’ It came to the day, and I was sweating so much, the insides of my trousers, with sweat, were wet.”

Robert Pattinson was last seen in Bong Joon Ho's Mickey 17, which came out in March.

Die, My Love will release on November 7, 2025.
