One of the most iconic celebrations in America, the Rose Parade, is back on the 1st of the new year. Viewers across the world and the USA can watch it live on various channels.
The New Year's Day tradition will begin at 8 a.m. PST and will be approximately 2 hours long. The parade follows a five-and-a-half-mile route through Pasadena. It will be hosted by Darren M. Haynes, a sports anchor; Pressley Hosbach, an actress, musician and Gen Z content creator; and Loni Love, the comedian, actress and author.

More on the Rose Parade 2025
This year, the theme of the 137th edition of the parade is “The Magic of Teamwork,” reflecting collaboration, creativity and community. The floats are built by volunteers, with marching bands, live performances and more.
The Rose Parade this year might also be a surprise due to the weather forecast. According to AccuWeather forecasting, the parade, for the first time in its 20-year dry streak, might face heavy downpours and thunderstorms. However, the organisers have safety measures in place. The delicate details of the floats have been covered, while convertible tops have been provided for VIPs, such as grand marshal Earvin “Magic” Johnson. However, no tents or pop-up structures have been allowed on the route.
The event will be broadcast live across the nation on multiple networks such as ABC, CNN, Fox, NBC, Great American Family, KTLA, Telemundo and Univision. You can also catch the 85 parade units on livestream platforms, including Christmas Plus, Dooya, Great American Pure Flix, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, FanDuel Sports Network, Fubo Sports Network and GFam+.
