Ryan Seacrest's father, Gary, has died at the age of 81.The radio and TV personality took to social media on Friday, October 31, to announce the demise of his father. Per People Magazine, he previously revealed that his father had been dealing with prostate cancer for several years."It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that my loving father peacefully passed away earlier this week," said Ryan on Instagram. "My mom, sister and I have peace knowing he is in a better place and free of any pain or suffering. At the time, he shared that his dad grew weak after battling pneumonia, though he expressed hope for his recovery.Noting that the father-son duo had a "close relationship," he recalled a frantic phone call he'd gotten from his sister while taping an "American Idol" episode, prompting him to fly home to Atlanta quickly."I finished the show. We were almost done. I couldn't, I couldn't even, I didn't even remember what I was saying was on the show. It was like robotic at that point," he said.After he landed in Georgia, he recalled witnessing his father in a weak state."...
