Sebastian Telfair has been released from prison just weeks after he was seen spending time with Diddy.

TMZ has reported that the former NBA player, 40, was released from Bureau of Prisons custody this week after reporting to Fort Dix FCI in New Jersey in August. He was sentenced to serve time after he violated the conditions of his supervised release in a case relating to healthcare fraud.

The outlet reported in November, with photos and videos, that Telfair spent time with he disgraced mogul. The latter was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution under the Mann Act. They spent a weekend together in the jail yard, speaking with each other, as seen in photos.

Sebastian Telfair entered a guilty plea in March 2023 on charges relating to fraud. He was charged with trying to fraudulently obtain reimbursement for medical and dental costs that were fabricated.

Following the release, he spoke to Antoinette Media about his immediate plans, noting that he was eager to go home to his family after taking care of himself for so long. He was previously married to Samantha, with whom he shares two kids. The pair divorced in 2019.

During a recent episode of his documentary "Final Days of Freedom," which chronicled his final days in prison, Sebastian Telfair opened up about his plans to redeem himself after prison.

At one point, he was visited by Thomas "Coach Ziggy" Sicagnano, whom he credits for discovering him at the age of 10. During their conversation, Telfair said that his judge previously told him he did not deserve to be around kids, a statement that he said hurt him.

He explained that he felt like he had disappointed his family, mentors, and everyone who had been rooting for him.

"There's no shame here," Sicagnano told Telfair. "Your community is behind you. There's several acts in life. This is just the second act closing. That's all. We're moving to the third act. When you come back here, we got s–t to do. "You got to do what you got to do," he continued.

As of this writing, it is unclear which judge he was referring to.

"I'm ready. I'm ready for the next chapter," Sebastian Telfair said. "My life right now is about my babies that I'm being taken out of the house from, that depend on me. Nobody could take care of the twins the way I'm going to take care of them. So I hope it's a quick six months."
