Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are set to ring in their first Christmas as a married couple. The In The Dark singer took to her Instagram on December 4 to share intimate glimpses of the couple decorating the Christmas tree. She captioned the carousel as,

"our first Christmas as a married couple."

In the first clip, Selena and Benny can be seen sitting next to a well-lit tree, cosying up, and placing ornaments in a time-lapse video. The couple, who tied the knot in September, had previously shared glimpses of Thanksgiving celebrations in November. According to E! News, Selena Gomez shared pictures of celebrating Thanksgiving with her loved ones and captioned one of the Instagram stories as,

"Most thankful for all of you today."

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are ready for the cosy season. The former shared glimpses of their Christmas preparations by decorating their Christmas tree. This Christmas is likely to be different for the couple as they mark their first Christmas as a married couple. People magazine reported that around the same time last year, the couple had become engaged.

The news outlet reported that they spent their last Christmas at composer Benj Pasek's annual celebration party in New York. While Benny and Selena haven't revealed their holiday plans on social media, they regularly post and shower love on each other.

Selena Gomez had previously opened up about her concurrent worries during "wonderful moments." During an appearance at Fortune's Most Powerful Women conference in October, Selena elaborated on how the jitters come in the way of enjoying the present moment. She explained,

"I got married and then I was sobbing, because I was like, ‘I’m gonna die the next day. Instead of being present and saying, ‘Wow, we’ve done a great thing,’ I’m always thinking, ‘But this could all go away tomorrow.’ So how can I make sure that doesn't happen?’

She added,

"I can just get wrapped up in that as opposed to enjoying things. That’s my biggest conflict sometimes, when wonderful things happen.”

Instead of getting "wrapped up" in worries, Selena Gomez shared a sweet moment with Benny Blanco ahead of Christmas preparations. While the couple haven't shared their holiday plans as of now, they have treated their fans to intimate glimpses of their relationship and celebrations.
