Four days after he sat through his wife's harrowing testimony recounting the alleged abuse she endured at Sean "Diddy" Combs' hands, Cassie Ventura's husband, Alex Fine, is speaking out.

The R&B songstress delivered her testimony over the course of four days in Combs’ sex trafficking trial, as she recalled being allegedly abused, r*ped, and drugged into submitting to the disgraced mogul's demands for years.

Alex Fine, 32, married Ventura in 2019, and the pair share two children with a third one on the way. The latter testified while being eight months pregnant.

In a statement issued on Friday, Alex Fine said of Combs, "and all of those who helped him along the way, please know this: You did not. You did not break her spirit nor her smile that lights up every room."

In his statement, Alex Fine said:

"I have felt so many things sitting there. I have felt tremendous pride and overwhelming love for Cass. I have felt profound anger that she has been subjected to sitting in front of a person who tried to break her," he said.

He went on:

“I did not save Cassie, as some have said. To say that is an insult to the years of painful work my wife has done to save herself. Cassie saved Cassie," he added. "She alone broke free from abuse, coercion, violence and threats. She did the work of fighting the demons that only a demon himself could have done to her. All I have done is love her as she has loved me," he said.

During her testimony, as reported by TMZ, Cassie, 38, spoke directly to the other survivors:

“I hope that my testimony has given strength and a voice to other survivors, and can help others who have suffered to speak up and also heal from abuse and fear,” she said. “For me, the more I heal, the more I can remember. And the more I can remember, the more I will never forget.”

She also said she's ready to leave her past behind and shift her focus onto her growing family:

“I’m glad to put this chapter of my life to rest as I turn to focus on the conclusion of my pregnancy,” she added.

Diddy has denied all the allegations against him. However, if implicated, he would be looking at a decades-long stint behind bars. His attorneys concluded their cross-examination of Ventura just this Friday.

As for Alex Fine, shortly after CNN published the infamous video of Diddy dragging and beating Ventura at a hotel lobby in 2016, he penned a note on Instagram stating: "Men who hit women aren't men."

Cassie Ventura accused Diddy of similar claims back in November 2023, when she filed a lawsuit against him. However, the case was settled the following day, with the former receiving $20 million in restitution.
