"Although it would have been nice to be recognized by your industry" - says Dua Lipa on not being nominated at the Grammys

Although Dua Lipa didn't receive any nominations for the 67th Grammys, the artist acknowledged and showed respect for all the other female artists being nominated.

While talking about her absence from Grammy nominations, Lipa said,

"Although it would have been nice to be recognized by your industry, especially as a woman, I'm so proud of so many incredible female artists nominated at the Grammys this year."

The singer also looked back at highlights of her year saying that she "ticked so many of my boxes", including performing with Elton John, receiving advice from Adele, and her Glastonbury set.

Charli XCX, Chapell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and her fellow contemporaries received Grammy nominations for Album of the Year, and Record of the Year. Beyonce was also nominated for her album Cowboy Carter.

Other snubs for the 2025 Grammys include Ariana Grande, Tyla, Jack Antonoff, Megan Thee Stallion, and others. Netizens noted that the nominations for this year have specifically been super competitive.
