Amanda Seales and activist Tamika Mallory are voicing dissent for Nicki Minaj's decision to back President Trump on his sentiments about Nigeria’s alleged religious persecution.

In a video going viral, Amanda Seales slammed the Anaconda songstress, alleging that she's likely getting a payout in one way or another for her public backing of the president:

"Either she's getting a check," she said, "or some type a pardon for that husband or another family member," she added in a caption. She added, "Or, she was nagging the whole time, or she genuinely thinks that she's doing something good, which, by the way, is why y'all need to have people around you that know more than you."

She continued,

"Everybody should have people around them that they can consult with, that think differently than you, that holds you in a place of values. Just so you understand what's happening with the plight of Christians in Nigeria, there is a plight of Christians in Nigeria. However, what does that have to do with the United States?"

She also claimed that the U.S. is using this news as a "ploy" or "proxy" to find its way into the country for a larger scheme in favor of the "global empire's goal."

In a statement on Instagram, Tamika Mallory also echoed Amanda Seales' sentiments against Nicki Minaj:

"For the record, Nicki Minaj may not may not realize it yet, but aligning with Donald Trump and his evil plans has consequences. As he turns his attention to Nigeria there will exploitation, resource theft, and innocent Nigerians will like be harmed. Trump has a pattern... he uses Black culture for cover while pushing policies that hurt Black people here and abroad. Unfortunately, that sister will be tied to the harm and history will remember who stood beside him."

For context, on Tuesday, Nicki Minaj took to the stage at a U.S.-organized event to publicly back the President's claims that Christians are being persecuted in Nigeria.

"Thank you Ambassador Waltz for this invitation. It is an honor to stand on this stage with you and the other distinguished guests here today to shine a spotlight on the deadly threat faced by thousands of Christians in Nigeria. I would like to thank President Trump for prioritizing this issue and for his leadership on the global stage and calling for urgent action to defend Christians in Nigeria to combat extremism and to bring a stop to violence for those who simply want to exercise their natural right to freedom of religion or belief."

The BBC has reported that jihadists and other armed groups have been targeting all communities across the West African nation, regardless of their beliefs. Just this week, two were murdered amid an attack on a church in Kwara, while 25 Muslim girls were abducted from their school. A teacher and a security guard were also murdered.

Earlier this month, the president vowed to send troops into the country if the Nigerian government "continues to allow the killing of Christians". However, the latter has refuted these claims, referring to them as "a gross misrepresentation of reality". An official said in a statement that

"terrorists attack all who reject their murderous ideology - Muslims, Christians and those of no faith alike".

As of this writing, Nicki Minaj has yet to address Seales and Mallory's sentiments. Stay tuned to SoapCentral for more.
