“She is smitten” - Dance Moms star Abby Miller shares insight into Jojo Siwa and Chris Hughes romance

Abby Lee Miller ran into JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes during a recent event.

“She is smitten,” Miller told Us Weekly while attending the 10th anniversary event for Juicy Scoop With Heather McDonald on June 25.

The encounter took place at a promotional shoot for Universal Orlando’s new theme park, Epic Universe. According to Miller, the vibe between JoJo Siwa and Hughes was unmistakable.

“I was with the two of them together. We were doing a thing for the opening of Universal Orlando’s new theme park, Epic Universe, and oh my god! She reminded me of me with a young, hot guy.”

Abby Lee Miller had mentored JoJo Siwa on Dance Moms. Miller described her former student as visibly enamored, fluttering her eyelashes and throwing glances over her shoulder.

“I think it’s hilarious. I think it’s adorable,” she shared. “He seems just as taken with her.” added Miller.

While speaking to E! News, Abby Lee Miller didn’t hold back when describing JoJo Siwa’s go big or go home approach.

“She really jumps into everything with both feet, right?” Miller said, before adding, “or maybe head-first. She dives in when it's shallow water and you shouldn't dive in, she dives in. So I'm thrilled for her.”

JoJo Siwa recently opened up about falling for Chris Hughes:

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes first crossed paths inside the Celebrity Big Brother house back in April. What started as a casual friendship quickly blossomed into something more with the two forming a close bond during their time on the British reality series.

Although the nature of their relationship remained ambiguous for a while, Siwa officially confirmed the romance in June, shortly after Hughes uploaded a revealing photo of the two lying in bed together.

Siwa shared her thoughts during an interview with The Guardian.

“It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way,” she said.

Addressing speculation that her relationship with the Love Island UK alum might be staged, she said:

“Clearly, you’ve never been around us. I won’t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now.”

She continued,

“Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I’ve never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.”

Fans first began speculating about a potential romance shortly after Siwa ended her relationship with Kath Ebbs on the night of the Celebrity Big Brother finale. At the time, Siwa maintained that her connection with Hughes, who once dated Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson, was strictly friendly.

But things took a turn when Hughes posted a Snapchat selfie of the two cozied up in bed. The photo showed Siwa with her eyes closed, gently resting her head on his chest while Hughes, shirtless, wrapped his arm around her and kissed her forehead.

In a report published by E! News, JoJo Siwa reflected on the unexpected connection she formed with Chris Hughes during their time in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Despite their obvious chemistry, the performer admitted she couldn’t quite explain what sparked her feelings for the former Love Island star.

“I have no idea and absolutely everything,” she said.

What became clearer to her, however, was what came after the cameras stopped rolling.

“After Big Brother, there was no other way. It was so crystal clear. We get along very, very well. We have so much fun together. We understand each other very well. We complement each other very well. We're patient with each other.”

Summing it up, Siwa said,

“I couldn't imagine my world without sweet Christopher boy.”
