Soulja Boy says he is "done trolling" DDG, following weeks of intense back-and-forth brought on by Halle Bailey's claims of abuse. Following threats, a suggested boxing fight, and nasty altercations, the rapper withdrew, to a huge backlash from online users.

Halle Bailey, the mother of DDG's 18-month-old son Halo, accused him of abuse and obtained a temporary restraining order on May 15, 2025, which set off the drama. After openly threatening DDG and promising to "beat the f**k outta" him for allegedly touching the Little Mermaid actress, Soulja Boy swiftly entered the dispute.

During a stream, DDG slapped back forcefully, not amused by the uninvited remark. Amid his personal problems, he accused Ray J and Soulja Boy of pursuing influence.

"Ray J was just asking to stream with me and now he trying to call his homie to get me f*cking copyrighted over a song. It's already cleared. No you can't get a stream with me, f*cko, you can't get a stream with me. F*ck ya. It's like, so many n***as, bro... N***as I ain't even gotta address for real. These folks be on my meat. Riding, trying to get on my wave."

He continued:

"Both of them n***as trying to be streamers, no one's watching you. You will never get to my level, ever in your life. Neither one of you n***as. Soulja Boy is begging for galaxies on TikTok as we speak."

To which Soulja Boy responded by doubling down on his comments and even including DDG's family:

Soulja Boy later proposed to get inside a boxing ring instead of tweeting on the internet.

“You know how to fight, right? You a boxer, right? Let’s get in the f**king ring b***h a** n***a. I’ll beat your b***h a**,” he barked. “Putting your hands on the Little Mermaid, n***a? F**k you and your whole family.”

DDG went on to clap Soulja Boy by making fun of Soulja Boy's alleged drug usage and questioning his street cred. He stated:

“Soulja Boy on another heroin rant. We gotta get that man clean. That heroin is f**king him up. F**king my childhood up. Let’s put all of our money together and let’s get Soulja Boy rehab. That heroin f**king him up.”

He went on to add:

"Soulja Boy you can’t fight, so stop tryna act like you wanna fight me, n***a. You just talking s**t. You was supposed to fight Chris Brown five years ago, n***a still ain’t do it. Nobody wanna hear that s**t, p***y n***a.”

In a now-deleted tweet by DDG, he wrote:

“Soulja Boy is poor. He’s poor. Ain’t cranked that since we was yay high, buddy. I will buy you. Couldn’t get next to me. We know you got crackhead teeth under them veneers. It’s just certain n***as that was like saying s**t just to like feed off of your misfortune. Especially n***as like that. You don’t want to go to war with me on this internet.”

But on June 3, in a surprising change of events, Soulja Boy tweeted that he was finished with the drama. He wrote:

"Squashing this DDG beef. This looking like a d*** n p**** situation. Minding my business from here on out. Done trolling these n****z."
