Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be the fourth Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), serving as a follow-up to 2021's No Way Home. It is also the 38th film in the MCU. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie is set to be released on July 31, 2026, by Sony Pictures Releasing.

Tom Holland will reprise his role as Peter Parker in the film. He recently revealed that he received a new Spider-Man suit every two weeks for the movie. Let's find out more about what he said and why he’s getting so many new suits.

Tom Holland got new spidey suits for Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Tom Holland spoke to Esquire Magazine recently. During the conversation, he revealed that he gets a new Spidey suit every two weeks while filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He said that “it definitely does” get musty in his suit during the shoot.

“I probably get a new suit every two weeks, I reckon.”

He added,

“I have such a good understanding of who Peter Parker is, and I have been so lucky that the fan base has been so vocal about what they love from the franchise. We’ve been able to really lean into those things and capitalize on those things. So, I love standing up for the character, being in the room, and making sure that the decisions we make are what’s best for Peter Parker because he really does feel like one of my best friends."

In a previous Ladbible interview, Holland revealed that he also designed the spider suit for his character. He said,

“What's been really fun about this most recent movie is designing the suit and being a part of that process and understanding what we wanted to try and achieve.”

His focus was on ‘the story behind the suit’ and made for an interesting narrative.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth standalone web-slinger film for Holland and his seventh overall in the MCU. The movie is written by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna, with Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige serving as producers. In addition to Holland, it will also star Zendaya reprising her role as Michelle Jones-Watson. Other cast members include Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, Jacob Batalon, and Michael Mando, among others.
