Will, a small goat with big dreams, gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Will’s new teammates aren’t thrilled about having a little goat on their roster, but Will is determined to revolutionize the sport and prove once and for all that “smalls can ball!” He has to do something he has never done before.

The film's cast has further expanded with Aaron Pierre and Jennifer Hudson joining the team.

Sony Animation's upcoming film is adding more voice cast members. Deadline recently reported that Jennifer Hudson, Aaron Pierre, Ayesha Curry, Eduardo Franco, Andrew Santino, Jerry Roll, and Bobby Lee Sherry Cola have joined the voice cast. Their specific roles have not been disclosed.

In a joint statement, Tyree Dillihay and Adam Rosette said:

Stephen Curry and Erick Payton, the film's producers, said:

“We’re thrilled to keep building an incredible roster of talent that brings the characters of Goat to life. [It] is a high-energy, laugh-out-loud adventure filled with heart, and we hope audiences will see themselves in these characters. And the best part? We’re just getting started.”

The film is produced by Curry, Payton, Michelle Raimo Kouyate, Adam Rosenberg, and Rodney Rothman. It centers around an anthropomorphic animal named Will Harris, who dreams of making it big in basketball.
