The makers have released the nearly two-minute-long trailer of Stay. It focuses on a couple, Kiara (played by Megalyn Echikunwoke) and Miles (Mo McRae), talking about how they fell in love. Their scene is intercut with Miles doing boxing and seeing her for the first time.

We then see them entering a place as Kiara says that she feels like the luckiest girl in the world. But the scene cuts back to her sitting inside a dark room, and it is obvious that their good days are in the past. In the present day, the couple is constantly fighting. At one point, Kiara tells Miles:

"Every time something gets too hard, you give up."

In response, he says that it was hard for him to leave. To which, Kiara says:

"But you still left."

As the movers and packers arrive, the couple realizes that they are locked inside their house. We are told that there is a spirit that traps people in the house. The rest of the trailer showcases whether they manage to leave the house.

Besides Mo and Megalyn, Stay also stars Brandon Firla as Brock, Patrick Cloud as Chauncey, and Dominic Stephens as Jeremiah. The film is produced by Lex Scott Davis, Jared Hoffman, Mo McRae, Garrett E.B. Thompson, Jason Aidoo, Zak Kristofek, Jason Tamasco, and Alison A. Taylor. Jas Summers, the film's director, has produced shorts like Bonaventure and Prom Night Flex.

As per Collider, the Hulu horror lineup includes titles like Alien: Earth, The Man in My Basement, Murdaugh: Death in the Family, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X Files, American Horror Story, and more.

Stay will start streaming on Hulu on October 8, 2025.
