The internet is linking the Jets' recent win at MetLife Stadium to Max B.

The Jets played in New York this week, where Max B was present 8 hours after he finished a 17-year prison stint. The team won, and photos of the latter resting his head on the team's official helmet are now going viral. Scores online have jokingly begun linking the two instances, such as this one user who suggested on X:

"That’s not a comeback, that’s divine intervention."

The comments didn't end there:

"Max B a good luck charm," one fan quipped.
"I should have a been a gangster instead of a college graduate.. I’m broke every 2-weeks, he gets out of prison and goes to a Jets game. Smh America!!!" another jokingly suggested.
"so max b had to serve 17 years just for the jets to win again… that man did more time than their playoff hopes," one more chimed in.
"Jets fans might start asking Max B to walk back into that stadium every week. The timing is too spiritual. When your only win boost comes from a man fresh out after seventeen years, the franchise is fighting for its life," someone else added.
"Jets needed Max B parole to break the curse," a fourth user quipped.

See how the rest of X is reacting:

"Max B effect. They not losing another game ever again," one fan gushed.
"All is right in the world again," someone else joked.
"the aura is crazy," another penned.
"I love how people forget why he was in prison for 15 years," one user pointed out.

Max B, a father of four, was spotted at the MetLife Stadium clad in Louis Vuitton. He bore witness to the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns game, and later reunited with Method Man, who served as the honorary photographer of the night.

“Fresh out the can,” Max told The People Gallery. “They gave me seven and five, but I’m back.” When asked how it feels to finally be free, he kept it simple: “I’m feeling righteous. Feeling good. I’m grateful. God is good.”

Born Charley Wingate, the Harlem native was let go from prison just this week after he was convicted for his involvement in a botched armed robbery. The Daily Mail has reported that the rapper skyrocketed to fame in the mid-2000s, though he was convicted in 2009 of manslaughter and armed robbery charges. At the time, he was sentenced to 75 years behind bars.

However, his conviction was overturned in 2016 when his new legal team pointed out that his original attorney had a conflict of interest. This resulted in 20 years being axed from his sentence. Just earlier this year, he rightly predicted that he would be a free man soon:

'I'm feeling righteous, man. I'm doing all right. This is almost over… Wavy Baby coming home real soon,' he said on The Joe Budden Podcast.

This Sunday, he was let go from jail. His longtime friend and collaborator, French Montana, celebrated his birthday that same day, and the rapper took to Instagram to share a video of their reunion with the following caption:

“CANT MAKE THIS UP! MY BROTHER REALLY CAME HOME ON MY B DAY! HAMDULILLAH. WALKED IT DOWN! NO MORE FREE YOU.”

In another post, he shared a clip of the two back in the studio:

“WORKING ON THE GDAY. COKE WAVE 3LOADING,” he wrote on Instagram
