On November 19, TMZ caught up with Karlissa Saffold, her son Blueface, and his new girlfriend, Hazel E. Karlissa was holding one arm of Blueface and Hazel with the other, as the three reacted to their age gap. Blueface and Hazel share a 17-year age gap, while Hazel and Karlissa share an 8-year age gap.The outlet noted Karlissa having an issue with Hazel and the rapper's age gap, to which Karlissa responded and said that she was just "caught off guard" after she found out that Hazel was 45 years old, since the rapper had told her that she was in her late 30s.Blue responded to his mother and asked,"what's the problem? I don't have a problem with it. I could learn something new from her honestly. I'm experimenting with it. This is my first cougar."Blue's mom admitted that while she admitted that she doesn't have an issue, she found it awkward that Hazel was calling her mom despite having an age difference of eight years."That's my sister...She calling me mom!"Karlissa Saffold says the age gap difference between Blueface and Hazel E is giving a "sugar mama situation."The trio, Karlissa Saffold, Hazel E, and Blueface, were spotted by TMZ days after TMZ had caught up with Karlissa on the street. At the time, Karlissa was still unsure about her son's romance with Hazel. When a TMZ reporter informed Saffold about the age gap, noting that Hazel is 45, Karlissa appeared shocked since she thought Hazel was actually 38.At the time, she also noted that the whole situation between Hazel and her son was giving a "sugar mama situation." This is not the first time Saffold has expressed disapproval with her son's girlfriends. In January 2024, TMZ asked Karlissa what she thinks of Blueface's ex, Chrisean Rock's massive face tattoo of the rapper's mugshot. Karlissa responded and said that the tattoo looks "absolutely f***ing crazy.""I really hope that it's fake because I don't want to feel like my son owes her, like he did for the other seven tattoos. When he comes home, and wants to get his mind right, and position himself to not deal with all that."Saffold also questioned Rock's love for Blue at the time and speculated that this was Rock's strategy to make her son "feel guilty" and "obligated" to deal with her since "no one else will." She advised Rock to "find another family to play Fatal Attraction with."
